No.1 Middle School of Linchuan
Established in the autumn of 1955 in Linchuan,it was the first batch of outstanding key middle schools of Jiangxi Province.
The school covers an area of about 7 hecares now,there are main teaching facilities:three teaching buildings (70 classrooms),a lab,an audio-visual education building,a student apartment,a teachers and students' dining room,a library,a standard stadium with a runway of 400meters.The laboratory apparatus,equipment reaches the standard of issuing in the province.There are the mainaudio-visual educational facilities:campus network;two language labs,(64 seats each;)524-seat multimedia report drawiing room,two multi-functional electricity classrooms furnished with liquid crystal multimedia projection machines;The number of the classroom of computer is 4;240 computers;the electronic reading room for teachers and administrative staff;a telecast hall;one set of systems of closed-circuit TV;Every class is furnished with the color TV.The library collects more than 60,000 volumes of books.
In all,there are 54 classes,more than 3,000 students and 232 experienced teachers in the school,including a special-class teacher,45 senior teachers,78 teachers with one level and 3 people studying for master' degree.

We regard improving teaching quality the central task of the school by a large scale as throughout Since the college entrance examination system has been restored,our school has sent more than 8100 students to high first-class universities and colleges altogether,among them over 2400 enroll key universities and colleges.In comforting in assessing, our school occupies the first place for 9 years in high-school efficeiency in school management of city state from 1990 to 2000.We attach great importance to special cultivation.So far we have sent 45 juvenile university students to some key universities.There are 40 people in overseas studies or obtaining the doctorate.
